Dubai Sound Academy is Home of SUPERSONICS - created to provide children and teens a route in to the music industry. We provide the opportunity to learn about how to make and play music like the biggest music producers in the business, learn about music marketing, social media, record labels, pod-casting and a whole lot more! We run regular classes each week at introduction, beginner, intermediate and advanced levels in our own classrooms, as well as providing DJ Club ASA’s in a number of schools across the UAE, including DBS EH. SUPERSONICS DJ Club at DBS EH — a hands-on introduction to DJing. If you love music, then you will love this - no experience needed! Learn about DJ equipment and the fundamentals of beat matching, mixing, looping and scratching. Different types of music and genres will be listened to and played, with hits and tips being provided by our professional DJs along the way. As young DJs progress their learning they may have the opportunity to perform in front of live audiences in real venues, including at school! This course turns your iPad in to a recording studio with drums, guitar, piano and more! The student will be introduced to digital music production, guiding them through creating beats, recording instruments and live sounds, using loops and structuring a complete song. By the end of the programme the student will create their own composition, learning essential skills in arrangement, effects and audio balancing.
